Ellie Hodge Hayse is the creator of Dead Serious… Kinda Not and Shameless Addictions, and one of the nation’s most relentless advocates exposing hospital protocol abuses, medical cover-ups, and organ procurement misconduct. She brings a unique blend of investigative journalism, legal strategy, and viral digital branding to her work. Skills that have helped build national awareness campaigns and scroll-stopping advocacy content for families across the country.

Her commitment to this mission is deeply personal. In 2021, Ellie’s brother, Andy Hodge, died under suspicious circumstances following a non-emergency hospital transfer. Records revealed alarming contradictions, missing information, and organ procurement activity without family consent. That loss ignited Ellie’s determination to confront systemic corruption, pursue accountability, and give a voice to the countless families who’ve faced the same betrayal.

As a board member of Betrayal Project USA, Ellie volunteers her expertise to design powerful storytelling campaigns that educate the public, mobilize communities, and demand reform. Her digital strategies have amplified family testimonies, driven mass engagement, and created a recognizable identity for the movement that is as bold and unapologetic as the truth it represents.

Ellie has shared Andy’s story and her advocacy work through podcasts, national media, and viral social platforms, helping survivors and families find the courage to speak out. She believes silence enables injustice and that telling these stories with accuracy, emotion, and impact is the first step to exposing corruption and protecting future patients.
