Secretary
Donna Spakes currently serves as Secretary of Betrayal Project USA and is based in Arkansas. She is a graphic designer with over 30 years of expertise in creating impactful designs for both print and online media. Most of her career has been as communications director for state trade associations, but she is also a freelance designer, creating websites and marketing materials for businesses, to effectively communicate messages that help achieve company goals through strategic and visually compelling design.
Driven by a profound personal experience of losing her husband Shawn in 2021, due to the deadly COVID hospital protocol, Donna discovered a calling to walk alongside others facing the devastating impact of loss. This journey of healing and a desire to serve led her to earn a certificate in Christian Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2022. She brings both her personal understanding and professional training to her role as a Christian Counselor, offering comfort and support to those navigating this especially difficult path of grief.
