Poisoned by the Shot, Finished by the Protocol: The Tragic Death of Judy Roberts
Judy Roberts was a 68-year-old woman from Indiana whose family believes her life began unraveling after she trusted the government’s promise that the COVID-19 shots were “safe and effective.” A loving mother and grandmother, Judy took two Moderna injections in 2021 believing she was doing the right thing to protect herself and those she loved. But according to her daughter Melody Hale, Judy was never the same afterward.
Melody watched her mother’s health rapidly decline after the injections. Judy began experiencing alarming physical changes, including severe bloating and what Melody described as accelerated aging. The vibrant woman her family knew seemed to deteriorate before their eyes. Yet despite these troubling symptoms, no one connected the dots or warned the family that the shots themselves could be contributing to her decline.
By January 2022, Judy’s condition had worsened enough that she was admitted to Kosciusko Community Hospital in Indiana. What followed was a nightmare that Melody says mirrored countless other testimonies from families across America. Judy was isolated from loved ones, physically restrained, deprived of food and water, pressured regarding end-of-life decisions, and eventually placed on a ventilator.
As Judy lay trapped inside the hospital system, she was administered a long list of powerful medications including sedatives, steroids, blood thinners, morphine, Propofol, and Baricitinib—also known as Olumiant. Melody believes her mother became caught in a system that prioritized protocol compliance over individualized care and informed consent.
One of the most disturbing aspects of Judy’s story came at the very end of her life.
According to Melody, Judy was suddenly declared COVID-positive on the very day she died—despite this not being the central issue during much of her hospitalization. Shortly before her death, after being ventilated, Judy was administered Baricitinib, a powerful immunosuppressive drug associated with many COVID-era hospital protocols. To Melody, the timing raised devastating questions. Why was her mother labeled COVID-positive at the end? Why was Baricitinib introduced so late in her care? Why did the aggressive escalation happen only after ventilation?
For Melody, the answer feels painfully clear: her mother became another victim of a deadly system driven by incentives, protocols, and policies that too often stripped families of trust, transparency, and basic humanity.
Judy died in the hospital on January 25, 2022. But for Melody, the loss did not end with her mother’s death. She has carried the grief of watching someone she loved deteriorate after the Moderna shots and then disappear into a hospital system where she believes profit-driven protocols took precedence over compassionate care.
